Overland Park, Kan. - For the fourth time this season, Central Methodist senior forward Raphael Gay earned Heart of America weekly honors by the conference office.
The senior from Paris, France, was named the conference defensive player of the week and is now a two-time defensive honoree and a two-time offensive selection this season.
In two wins last week, Gay averaged nine rebounds/game, pulling down a total of 17 defensive boards.
Additionally, he also tallied three blocks and averaged 13 points/game.
The Eagles are currently fourth in the Heart of America PRS standings with four games to go in the regular season.
Central plays host to Culver-Stockton College on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
