Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time this season, Central Methodist senior forward Raphael Gay earned Heart Player of the Week honors by the conference office on Monday.
He was named the Offensive Player of the Week after earning defensive honors on December 1st.
The native of Paris, France, propelled the Eagles to a dominant 97-80 win over the Clarke Pride Saturday afternoon in Dubque, Iowa.
Gay led Central with a dominant 28-point, 12-rebound double-double, shooting 10-of-15 from the floor. He also went eight-of-11 from the charity stripe and added two steals, one assist, and a block.
It marks his sixth 20-plus point performance of the year.
Gay and the Eagles will return to Puckett Field House to host Hesston College Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 5:00 p.m.
