Fayette, Mo. - For the second consecutive week, Central Methodist senior forward Bol Tong earned weekly honors from the Heart of America Monday afternoon. 

The native of Kansas City, Missouri was tabbed as the Heart Defensive Player of the Week. He previously earned Heart of America Offensive Payer of the week honors last week. 

Tong led Central to a pair of wins against Culver-Stockton and William Penn this past week. 

He finished the week with nine defensive boards, seven blocks and a steal. Six of Tong's seven blocks came against the Statesmen Saturday. 

The Eagles are winners of three straight to open the New Year and are currently 10-7 and 7-6 in the Heart.

Central will look to push its win streak to four with a matchup against MidAmerica Nazarene Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Olathe, Kan.
