Central Improves to 2-0 with Convincing Victory over Eutectics

Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Basketball program earned a convincing 116-60 victory over University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy Wednesday night inside Puckett Field House.

It marks the highest-scoring total for the Eagles since Oct. 29, 2021, when Central defeated Ozark Christian College, 111-50.

Six different Eagles landed in double figures, including four of the starting five. Isaiah Williams led the way with 20 points on eight-of-11 shooting from the floor which included four three-point baskets.

Everett Stubblefield followed with 16 points in addition to four assists, two rebounds, and a block.

Trey Sinegal chipped in 14 points on 50-percent shooting from the field in addition to two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

TreVon Smith nearly recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. Both Isaiah May and Marcus Anthony tallied 10 points to round out the double-digit scorers.

As a team, Central shot 53.9-percent from the floor and outrebounded the Eutectics, 58-36. In addition, the Eagles' defense forced 18 UHSP turnovers in the route.

CMU continues the non-conference portion of their schedule when they host Williams Woods University Monday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
