FAYETTE, Mo. – The No. 20 Central Methodist University men's basketball team fell to an unranked Graceland program at home on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles trailed by six at the intermission and were unable to shut down the YellowJackets in the second half. As a team, Central lost the rebounding battle by a 32-29 margin and were forced to commit 17 turnovers.
Josh Robinson (SR/Normal, Ill.) led all scorers on the night after dropping 22 points. He was 7-of-14 from the field and an efficient 7-for-9 from the charity stripe. Kyle McDermed (JR/Frankfort, Ill.) also finished in double figures with 10 points and a pair of threes from beyond the arc. Rijnard Hartman (JR/Magaliesburg, South Africa) led all players on the boards with 10 rebounds, collecting five on offense and five on defense.
Up next for Central will be a contest against Evangel at home on Tuesday, November 26th. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM in Puckett Field House.
