Fayette, Mo: It was Senior Day at CMU, and the Eagles came out firing as they built a 45-35 halftime lead.

The second half was a different tale, as Evangel roared back, taking 82-70 lead with 5:32 left in the game.
The Eagles were not done, and mounted a comeback of their own, getting within 2 at 87-89. Evangel was able to push the lead back to 4, and hold on for the victory.

The Eagles will play next in the opening round of the Heart of America Conference Tournament Tuesday evening in Puckett Fieldhouse. At the time of release, the opponent was not known.
Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Sherman had this to say about the game, "It was tough to see our seniors lose today. It is tough to play a team when they know it's their last game. Cole had a tremendous game, and really a tremendous senior season. We will regroup for our game Tuesday."
The game was the last regular season game for CMU Seniors Cole Adair, Ron Lee, Charles Harris, and Kyle Buffkin (SR/Stallings, N.C.), and Scott Stegeman.
