Terri Marshall Vandezande played for the women's basketball team. On the hardwood, she averaged 12.3 points/game her freshman season, leading the Eagles to an overall record of 19-9, including a 10-6 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. Marshall Vandezande was tabbed as the Heart Freshman of the Year and an Honorable Mention All-Conference performer.
As a sophomore, she averaged 15.3 points/game and was named to the Heart All-Conference First Team. In her junior year, Marshall Vandezande averaged 16.1 points and 3.9 assists/game, and was again a Heart First Team All-Conference performer.
In her final season, she tallied 15.8 points/game and set the single-game program record with eight three-point makes. Marshall Vandezande capped her career with her third-straight Heart First Team All-Conference selection.
She was also an outstanding athlete in both softball and women's soccer. Her senior year was highlighted with Heart First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region honors as a member of the softball team. In her final year of collegiate sports in 1997, Marshall Vandezande earned a letter as a member of the soccer team.
She graduated from CMC in 1998.
