During his senior season in 2008-09, he scored 601 points and averaged a team-best 17 points per game. Blauvelt helped lead the Eagles to a 28-7 record, the third most wins in program history, and an appearance in the Heart Tournament Championship game. The Eagles advanced to the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City, upsetting No. 4 Georgetown in the first round. That team would later be enshrined into the Hairston Hall of Fame in 2015. For his efforts during his senior season, Blauvelt was recognized as a Heart First Team All-Conference selection, an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, and named the Estes Male Athlete of the Year. Blauvelt graduated from CMU with a degree in recreational management and a minor in counseling. He now works in the construction industry and has been married to his wife, Ashton, since 2015. Jeff enjoys coaching their twin boys' Harrison and Hawkins, in both football and basketball.
