Overland, Park, Kan. - Two members of the Central Methodist Women's Basketball program were named to Heart of America All-Conference teams, which were announced by the conference office on Thursday, February 26.
Senior Kaitlyn Patke was named to the Second Team, while freshman guard Tayla Robinson earned Third Team honors.
Patke, a Truman State transfer from Washington, Missouri, appeared in all 29 games for the Eagles with 25 starts.
She led Central in scoring, averaging 11 points per game, and tallied 20 or more points on two occasions.
Patke poured in a season-high 21 points against Kansas Wesleyan University on Dec. 17 and again versus Graceland University on Jan. 10.
Additionally, she averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. In total, Patke scored 319 points in her lone season with the Eagles.
Robinson made an immediate impact in her first season with the Eagles, appearing in all 29 games with 24 starts.
The Columbia, Missouri native averaged nine points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
She recorded a season-best 16 points against Oklahoma City University on Oct. 31 and again versus Kansas Wesleyan on Dec. 17.
The freshman was efficient at the line, converting 82.8 percent of her free-throw attempts, and shot nearly 38 percent from the field.
Central finished the year with a 15-14 overall record and a 10-10 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
