St. Louis, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Basketball team dropped their final game of the UHSP Classic to Cumberland (Tenn.) Saturday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri.
Central now stands at 2-1 while the Phoenix improve to 3-1.
Tayla Robinson led the Eagles in scoring with 12 points while also grabbing four rebounds and dishing out two assists.
Asnate Gerke followed with nine points on four-of-six shooting from the floor. Kaitlyn Patke added eight points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
The Eagles strugged shooting from the floor, converting just 34 percent and 22.7 percent from three.
Cumberland controlled the glass, outrebounding Central 41-26.
CMU continues non-conference action with a matchup against Columbia College Thursday, Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
