Women's Basketball Up One Slot in Latest Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Central Methodist University women's basketball team moved up one slot to No. 23 in the latest edition of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Since the release of the first poll, the Eagles (9-4/5-2 Heart) picked up wins against Grand View, Lindenwood-Belleville, and Friends, while suffering one loss to Haskell.

Other conference opponents in the running include MidAmerica Nazarene (No. 2), William Penn (No. 20), Baker (Receiving Votes), and Evangel (Receiving Votes).

The Eagles will open 2019 action by hosting Clarke University this evening. Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm.
