INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday morning that Central Methodist senior guards Morgan Vetter, Chelsea Pannier and Kyra Williams are among 104 Women's Basketball Division I�student-athletes that have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. Vetter and Pannier are repeat award winners.

Vetter sports a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) in physical education. The Salisbury, Mo., native was a second team All-HAAC selection this season and scored a single-game school record 45 points in her final home game.

Pannier, from Cape Girardeau, Mo., posts a 3.51 GPA in psychology. She averaged 4.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game during her final season.

Williams holds a 3.52 GPA in psychology. The Knob Noster, Mo., product had her last season cut short in early December due to injury but still averaged 10.4 points, 6.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Williams recorded a career-high 27 points in a 93-79 win at No. 20 Columbia (Mo.).

Avila (Mo.), Baker (Kan.), Culver-Stockton (Mo.), Great Falls (Mont.), Vanguard (Calif.), Westminster (Utah) and William Woods (Mo.) lead all institutions with four individuals on the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director for this honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved at least a junior academic status.
