KANSAS CITY � Central Methodist senior guard Raylyn Nuss has been named to the 2013 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Women's Basketball honorable mention All-America Team, the national office announced Wednesday.
Nuss, a second team All-Heart of America Athletic Conference pick, started all 33 games in 2012-13 and helped guide the Eagles to their first Division I National Championship appearance. The O'Fallon, Mo., native ranked second in the HAAC in 3-point field goals made (86) and treys made per game 2.61). Nuss ranked eighth in NAIA Division I in 3-point field goals made and 11th in 3-point field goals made per game.
Nuss concludes her four-year career in Fayette with 983 points and 334 made field goals, including 231 from beyond the arc. She also had 189 assists and 77 steals.
Players were selected by the NAIA-Women's Basketball Coaches' Association All-America Committee.
