Sophomore Sami Dunger was named to the Heart of America Athletic Conference women's basketball all-conference third team, announced Tuesday.

Dunger, a 5-foot-8-inch guard from Wildwood, Mo., averaged 14.1 points per game this season to lead Central Methodist in scoring. She finished with 70 three-pointers this season, which was fourth in the HAAC. Dunger scored 422 points this season, giving her 761 after her first two collegiate seasons. She is on track to become the 14th player to achieve 1,000 career points in Central Methodist women's basketball history. In addition to leading CMU in scoring this season, Dunger also was second on the team with 38 assists and 42 steals.
