Wiese Tabbed as First Heart Men's Golfer of the Week of 2024

Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist sophomore Cole Wiese was named the Heart of America Men's Golfer of the Week by the conference office Monday.

Wiese earned Player of the Week honors after competing at the WWU Fall Invitational last week. The native of High Ridge, Missouri fired scores of 68 and 69 for a total of 137 to finish in a tie for first place.

He would ultimately finish second after a playoff hole. The tournament featured 80 total golfers, and Wiese helped his team to a third place standing.

Wiese and the Eagles continue fall action at the CMU Fall Invitational Tuesday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo.
