Boonville, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program competed in a shortened home tournament Monday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo.
The CMU Fall Invitational, which was originally scheduled for two rounds over the course of two days, was shortened to one due to rain on Tuesday.
The three-team tournament consisted of 61 total golfers representing CMU, Missouri Valley, and William Woods.
Central finished third with a single-round total of 289, seven strokes back from tournament champion William Woods.
Cylas Worley and Keenan James each finished in a tie for fourth, shooting two under par at 70. Freshman Zane Downey also landed inside the Top 10, placing eighth with a single-round total of 71.
Brayden Loftin (18th - 73), Carter Jackson (28th - 75), Brock Jenkins (28th - 75), Atticus Brandes (37th - 76), Rocco Amoia (41st - 77), Peyton Taylor (47th - 79), Evan Fleetwood (53rd - 81), Travis Allen (54th - 82), Rhad Leathers (55th - 83), John Howle (57th - 85), Noah Caldwell (59th - 89), Sterling Sederwall (60th - 92), and Hayden Deweese (61st - 101) also competed for the Eagles.
CMU will next compete in the William Woods Fall Invitational beginning Monday, Sept. 29 at 9:00 a.m. at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
