Fulton, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program continued their fall season at the William Woods Fall Invitational earlier this week at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Missouri.
Joining CMU at the tournament included; host William Woods, Missouri Valley College, Columbia College, John A. Logan College, Crowder College, Lincoln University, Health Sciences and Pharmacy, and Westminster College.
As a team, the Eagles finished ninth with a two-round score of 586. After shooting a round one score of 297, CMU improved their day two score by eight strokes (289).
Individually, Cylas Worley was Central's highest finisher, finishing in a tie for 15th with a total score of 142.
Carter Jackson followed with a score of 145 to tie for 26th, including a solid second round of 69 on day two.
Zane Downey (T45th - 149), Peyton Taylor (T59th - 153), Brayden Loftin (T59th - 153), Keenan James (T59th - 153), Rocco Amoia (63rd - 154), Atticus Brandes (T69th - 158), Brock Jenkins (T73rd - 161), and Evan Fleetwood (85th - 179) also competed for the Eagles.
William Woods won the tournament, shooting 29 under par with a two-day score of 547.
Central will next compete at the Heart of America Conference Preview Oct. 20-21 at Paradise Valley Golf Course in Smithville, Mo.
