Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist senior men's golfer Matias Baccola was recognized as the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
The native of La Falda, Argentina won the Big Muddy Shootout with a single round score of 65 last Monday in Marshall, Mo.
He finished ahead of a field of 52 golfers, and the Eagles took home first place as a team, shooting the lowest single-round score in program history at 273.
Baccola and CMU are currently competing at the Columbia College Cougar Classic in Columbia, Mo.
