Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist senior wide reciever Katavious Taylor earned All-America honors for the third-straight season, as announced by the NAIA office Wednesday morning.
Taylor becomes the first three-time NAIA All-American in program history after finishing 2020 with a team leading 44 receptions, 641 recieving yards, and 10 touchdowns.
For his performance on the gridiron, the Memphis, Tenn. native was named to the Heart All-Conference First Team, finishing second in the conference in both receptions and recieving yards. He also was tied for first in the Heart in recieving touchdowns.
His best performance came in the Eagles' 27-20 win over Evangel on Nov. 7, when he hauled in a season-high eight receptions for 109 yards.
CMU finished the 2020 season with a 5-4 overall record, their best mark since the 2014 campaign when they finished 6-5.
