FAYETTE, Mo.�- The Central Methodist football team opens Spring Practice 2012 on Tuesday with high expectations. The�Eagles return�10 projected starters, with six on offense, three on defense and�one on special teams.
"We are extremely excited to get back to work and get going," head coach Alan Dykens said. "We brought in a great group of student-athletes in January to go along with our returners, and I'm ready to see what they all can do."
Beginning on Tuesday,�Central Methodist�will hold 14 practices leading to the Spring Game, scheduled for Saturday, April 21,�at�Davis Field�at�1 p.m. CT.
The Eagles posted a 5-5 record last season, including a 5-4 mark in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.
