Around 35 children from kindergarten through sixth grade participated in the free clinic, which was led by members of the 2010 CMU football team. The children rotated through four offensive and three defensive stations during the 90-minute clinic. At each station, the children participated in several drills, learning the basics for the positions of quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, offensive linemen, defensive backs, linebackers, and defensive linemen. Following the clinic, the children and other fans in attendance were able to get autographs from and take photos with the CMU players and coaches.

The free clinic is one of several community service projects the Central Methodist football team completes each year as part of its commitment to the NAIA Champions of Character program. The Champions of Character program embraces five core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
