LAWRENCE, Kan. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that Central Methodist's Kaitlyn Loeffler is among 340 women's cross country student-athletes that have been named 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.
Loeffler earns the honor for a second-consecutive year. The senior and Olathe, Kan., native completed her second season with the women's cross country team.
Indiana Wesleyan leads all programs with 10 individuals on the list.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
