Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program had a busy week, as the team split its squads Monday and Tuesday.
Central competed at both the Missouri Valley Spring Invite in Marshall, Missouri and the UHSP Spring Invite in Madison, Illinois.
In Marshall, the duo of Mechelle Vermillion and Kali Brown took part in the two-day tournament. Vermillion posted a three-round score of 252 to finish fourth.
Brown finished sixth with a three round score of 265.
At the UHSP Spring Invite, Central was amongst sixth other teams competing including Columbia College, IU-Kokomo, Lincoln, William Woods, Missouri Baptist and host Health Sciences & Pharmacy.
Reagan Bell was CMU's highest finisher, placing 8th with a two-round score of 164, improving on her day one round by eight strokes (78).
Tanier Massey finished 21st after firing a two-round score of 180.
Kyambria Acy (25th - 183), Lauren Williams (26th - 184), and Karington Harrell (28th - 188) als competed for the Eagles.
As a team, Central posted a fourth place standing of 711.
Columbia College won the tournament with a two-day score of 647, followed by IU-Kokomo (665), and Lincoln (698).
The Eagles will turn their attention to the postseason with the Heart of America Conference Championships, set to begin Monday, April 21 at Jack Nicholas Lion's Gate in Overland Park, Kansas.
