Fulton, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program posted took part in the highly competitive William Woods Fall Invitational earlier this week at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Missouri.
The 11-team field featured the following teams; host William Woods, Columbia College, John A Logan, Missouri Valley College, UHSP, Central Methodist, Cottey College, Crowder College and Westminster.
Central posted a sixth place finish with a two-round score of 699.
Sophomore Reagan Bell was the Eagles' highest finisher, tying for 17th with rounds of 85 and 83 for a 168 total. Ella Martin was right behind Bell, finishing in a tie for 19th with a score of 170.
Paige Bender (27th - 180), Lauren Williams (T-28th - 181), Karington Harrell (34th - 192), and Lindsey Burbridge (46th - 209) also competed for the Eagles.
Columbia College took home the team title with a two-day score of 618, 24 strokes better than second place William Woods.
CMU will next compete in the Heart of America Conference Preview, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 20-21 at Paradise Valley Courses in Smithville, Missouri.
