Eagles Take First Place at Wildcat Fall Classic

Quincy, Ill. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program took home first place at the 2024 Wildcat Golf Classic at the Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy, Illinois.

It marks the second tournament the Eagles have won this fall, as they were also crowned tournament champions at the Missouri Valley Fall Invitational in early September.

The tournament, which was hosted by Culver-Stockton College, featured Central Methodist and fellow NAIA school, the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy of St. Louis.

As a team, Central finished the tournament with a total score 755, while UHSP tallied a two-day score of 795.

Individually, Reagan Bell won the tournament with a two-round score of 176, nine strokes better than second place. Kali Brown finished third with a score of 189, while Lauren Williams placed fourth with a score of 190. Those places were determined on a scorecard playoff.

Kyambria Acy (5th - 199), Chloe Fong (7th - 200), Karington Harrell  (10th - 203), and Tanier Massey (12th - 211) also competed for the Eagles.

Central will next compete at the Railwood Open beginning Monday, Oct. 21 at Spring Lake Country Club in Holts Summit, Missouri.
