Boonville, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf team hosted the CMU Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo.
The six-team tournament featured 38 golfers represented by CMU, Columbia College, Missouri Valley, William Woods, Health Sciences & Pharmacy of St. Louis, and Crowder College. As a team, Central would post a fourth-place finish with a team score of 701 through two complete rounds. Columbia College would win the tournament with a total of 646.
Chloe Fong was Central's highest finisher, firing rounds of 76 and 83 to finish in a tie for third place. Mechelle Vermillion also landed inside the Top 10 in eighth with rounds of 86 and 83.
Regan Bell (17th - 182), Kyambria Acy (18th - 184), Karington Harrell (23rd - 189), Lauren Williams (25th - 191), and Kali Brown (27th - 203) also competed for the Eagles.
Central will next compete in the Wildcat Fall Classic, beginning Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy, Ill.
