Fulton, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program finished third at the William Woods Spring Invitational this week in Fulton, Mo.
The event featured 82 players represented by 14 different institutions from across the midwest.
CMU posted a team score of 646, just behind second-place Bellevue (645) and tournament champion Mount Mercy (632). It marks the programs fifth top-three finish so far this season.
Mechelle Vermillion, Logan Allen, and Alea Andrade all finished tied for 12th with identical scores of 161. Hailey Richard landed in the Top 20 with a two-round score of 164. Sarah Krenowicz rounded out CMU's top five golfers with a score of 166 to place 29th.
Central will next compete in the Missouri Valley Spring Invitational beginning Monday, April, 10 in Marshall, Mo.
