Kansas City, Mo. - After leading their team's to first place finishes at the CMU Fall Invtational last week, the duo of Cassandra Contreras and Aaron Teece were each named Heart Golfers of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday. 

Contreras, the reigning Heart Women's Golfer of the Year, won the event on the women's side with a two round score of 146. Teece posted a second place finish out of 54 golfers after firing rounds of 70 and 69, just one stroke back from the top spot. 

CMU continues fall competition at the Lindsey Wilson College Invite Tuesday, Sept. 21 in Columbia, Ky.
