Oskaloosa, Iowa - The Central Methodist women's golf program began the 2021 fall season with a trip to Oskaloosa, Iowa to compete in the William Penn Invitational Wednesday afternoon.
Joining Central at the invitational included; host William Penn, Central College, Mount Mercy, Grand View, and Culver-Stockton.
The Eagles placed fifth out of 10 teams with a final team score of 332, while William Penn won the tournament with a final score of 317.
Reigning Heart Women's Golfer of the Year Cassandra Contreras posted a Top-10 finish, placing tied for eighth with a single round score of 80. Newcomer Sarah Krenowicz fired a single round score of 82 to finish 15th, while Logan Allen was just two strokes back at 84, good for T-16.
Alea Andrade and Riley Burns rounded out the top five place finishers for Central, posting scores of 86 and 101 respectively.
