- Assistant Coach
Kelly James-Crumbaugh enters her first year as an assistant coach with the softball program in 2026-27. Prior to CMU, James-Crumbaugh spent the previous four years as the head coach of Missouri Valley College.
She also served as a graduate assistant for the Vikings in 2022 before taking over as head coach in 2023. While coaching, James-Crumbaugh earned a Master's degree in Education Administration.
Additionally, James-Crumbaugh was a four-year athlete for the Vikings, playing in 142 total games from 2017-21. She graduated from MVC in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
