Louisville, Ken. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 150 student-athletes from 66 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA NAIA All-Region teams.
The Eagles, who represented Region V, placed a division-best seven players on its All-Region list, including four on the first team. Central's All-Region V First Team selections included; Haley Cotter (Pitcher), Daly Garland (Second), Madison Roberts (Short) and Joely Crider (DP).
Second Team selections for the Eagles include; Lauren Hill (Catcher), Elizabeth Palumbo (First), and Kaysie Jolley (Outfield).
Cotter finished her junior year with an 18-6 record and a 1.73 earned run average. She tossed 149.1 total innings and struck out 68 batters in 27 appearances with 26 starts.
Additionally, the native of Smithville, Missouri threw 17 complete games. For her efforts in conference play, Cotter earned a Heart First Team All-Conference selection and was also named the Heart Pitcher of the Week on March, 10th.
Garland appeared in 52 games in her final season in an Eagle uniform. She tallied a .358 batting average which included 14 doubles and three home runs. Garland drove in 41 total RBI and scored 30 runs. The native of Woodridge, Illinois was also a Heart First Team All-Conference selection and earned Heart Player of the Week honors on March, 26th.
Roberts was Central's primary shorstop in 2025, appearing in 51 games. The junior recorded a .422 batting average with 11 doubles, three triples and five home runs. She totaled 98 bases and scored 33 runs. Roberts was named to the Heart All-Conference First Team and is now a two-time Region V First Team selection.
Crider started in every game for the Eagles in her junior season, primarily in the designated player role. The First Team All-Heart selection batted .358 with 57 total hits, including 17 doubles, a triple, and five homeruns.
She finished her junior year second on the team in doubles and drove in 36 total RBI. Crider also led the Eagles with 32 walks and tied for the team lead with a .495 on base percentage. She earned First Team All-Conference honors this year, and is now a three time All-Region selection and a two-time first team honoree.
Hill was selected to the second team after earning first team honors as a junior in 2024. The native of California, Missouri played in 52 of Central's 53 games, serving as CMU's starting catcher in her final season. She batted .344 and finished second on the team in doubles (17), home runs (eight), RBI (43) and slugging percentage (.631). She also earned Heart First Team All-Conference honors and was named the Heart Player of the Week on April, 7th.
Palumbo had another stellar campaign for the Eagles as a junior in 2025. She took home Heart Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season and landed a spot on the Heart All-Conference First Team. Palumbo led the team in slugging percentage (.699), doubles (19), RBI (48), home runs (11), batting average (.399) and hits (69). She is now a two-time NFCA NAIA All-Region selection.
Jolley rounds out the second team selections for the Eagles, as the junior from Nampa, Idaho is now a three time All-Region selection. She finished the year with a .318 batting average while collecting 14 doubles, a team leading six triples, and seven home runs. Jolley was second on the team in RBI with 43 and led the Eagles with seven stolen bases. She was also named a Heart First Team selection.
As a team, Central concluded the year winning the Heart Regular Season Championship for the fourth straight season. In addition, CMU finished the season with a 42-11 overall record and punched their ticket to a third consecutive appearance in the NAIA World Series. It is the first time the program has made back-to-back-back trips in school history.
