Parkville, Mo. - The No. 3 Central Methodist Softball team remains hot in the month of April, as the Eagles completed a doubleheader sweep of the Park University Pirates Saturday afternoon in Parkville, Missouri. 

Central took game one by a final score of 10-1, before a perfect game from Haile Farris in game two led Central to a 7-0 win in the finale. 

In the first game of the day, Central plated 10 runs on 17 hits, which included four doubles and a home run. 

Kelena Oots batted four-for-five with two runs scored while also swiping three stolen bases. Madison Roberts matched Oots with four hits in five trips to the plate including a double. Elizabeth Palumbo finished the game batting three-for-five with a single, double, and a home run. She also recorded three RBI. 

Senior Madison White batted two-for-four with a two-RBI double in the second inning. 

Jordyn Ball tallied her 16th win of the year inside the circle, tossing a complete game and allowing one uneaned run on three hits while striking out eight batters. 

Game two belonged to senior pitcher Haile Farris, as the native of Camdenton, Missouri threw a perfect game while striking out four. She improves her overall season record to 10-1. The perfect game by Farris is the first since teammate Jordyn Ball did the same against Peru State on April 22nd, 2023. 

In the batter's box, Joely Crider finished the day with a pair of hits, including a two-run home run in the seventh inning. Roberts cleared the bases in the third inning with a double, while White hit two doubles. 

Junior Daly Garland also singled in the sixth to plate Emily Sheffield.
