With the sweep, Central improves its overall record to 11-4 and 3-1 in conference play. Park falls to 6-8 and 1-5 in the Heart.
Game one was a low-scoring affair in the first five innings of play, as the only run scored came in the top of the first inning on an RBI single from Daly Garland. Central ramped up the offense in the final two innings, scoring five runs. Kelli Gorman jump started the offense with a solo home run to left field followed by a single from Mikayla Pennell.

After the dust settled, CMU finished the day with six runs on eight hits including four walks.
Central's pitching staff was masterful inside the circle, combining for a one-hitter and 11 strikeouts. Mykala Johnico came in relief for the final inning, retiring the side in order to preserve the shut-out win.
