Kelli Gorman Named NAIA All-American

Kelli Gorman Named NAIA All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2019 Softball All-America teams, selected by the NAIA All-America committee. The All-America teams are comprised of First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention selections.

Kelli Gorman (SO/St. Charles, Mo.), a Heart First Team All-Conference selection, was honored on the NAIA First Team list at the outfield position.

Gorman finished her sophomore campaign leading the team with a remarkable .424 batting average and a total of 62 RBIs. With 11 homeruns this season, she is currently ranked 3rd in program history for career homeruns (21).

Gorman also registered four triples and 12 doubles on 64 hits and a .971 fielding percentage. She finished the season nationally ranked in nine categories, including 3rd in RBIs per game (1.409), 10th in total bases per game (2.659), and 11th in total RBIs.
