Marion, Ind. - Sixteen members of the Central Methodist Men's Track and Field program will represent the Eagles at the 2025 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships this coming week on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
The three-day event will run from Wednesday, May 21, through Friday, May 23.
Athletes in the following events will represent the CMU Men: Logan Bass (400m Hurdles), Hunter Mont Cary (Decathlon), Ethan Smith (Decathlon), Colder Evans (Shot Put, Discus & Hammer Throw), Brayton Stephenson (Shot Put), Hugo Massa (800m Run), Harvey Sayon (High Jump), Azaan Stoughtenborough (Triple Jump), and Leroy Williams (110m Hurdles).
Additionally, the 4x100m relay (Adam Trachsel, Sam Thomas, Tristan Boyce, Charles Young & Williams) and the 4x800m relay teams (Jacchaeus Taylor, Doriye Jackson, David Leon, Massa, Thomas, & Bass) will run for the Eagles.
Seven of this year's representatives have outdoor championship experience, including Cary, Smith, Evans, Stephenson, Williams, Trachsel, and Jackson, all of whom competed in previous outdoor nationals.
Three of those seven Eagles are returning NAIA Outdoor All-Americans, as Williams (4th - 110m Hurdles), Cary (7th - Decathlon), and Evans (8th - Discus) earned podium finishes in 2024.
Smith (Decathlon) and Stephenson (Shot Put) are each ranked eighth in their respective events, while Williams (110m Hurdles) is ranked ninth entering this week's championship meet.
Competition is set to start this Wednesday, May 21, with the Decathlon beginning at 9:00 a.m. (CT)
