Kansas City, Kan. - Eight members of the Central Methodist Men's Track and Field program were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the national office.
Among the 873 student-athletes from across the country to be recognized, the following CMU athletes were included; Brayton Stephenson, Colder Evans, Evan Workman, Exavier Coburn, Grant Engel, Jaxon Hiser, Kyle Newberry, and Zy'Shonne Cowans.
In order to be nominated , a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
