Kansas City, Mo. - For the first time this season, Central Methodist junior sprinter Leroy Williams was named the Heart Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the week by the conference office this week. 

Williams joins a list of 12 CMU athletes that have been named Heart Track & Field Athletes of the Week in 2023-24. 

The native of Cypress, California competed at the premier Kansas Relays Friday, placing fourth overall in the 110m hurdles in 14.10. He hit the NAIA 'A' Standard of qualification for the upcoming NAIA National Championships.
