Yankton, S.D. - The Central Methodist Indoor Track & Field programs wrapped up the final day of competition at the 2021 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships Saturday in Yankton, S.D.
Senior thrower Taylor Bottomley competed in both the shot put and the weight throw. The senior from Harrisburg, Mo. finished in 12th place in the weight throw with a final toss of 17.52 meters.
Following up an impressive semifinal heat on Thursday, the 4x400m relay team of Mohammed Nyaoga, Jacob Fritz, Curtis Johns, and Nehemiah Colyer ran a final time of 3:19.08, good enough for fourth place and All-Amerca honors. The four are only the second relay team in the last 20 years to earn All-America honors.
Indiana Tech took home the 4x400 championship with a final time of 3:17.72. The Warriors also claimed the team titles on both the men's and women's sides, as the men earned 51.5 points and the women 111 points.
