Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist competitive cheer team continued competition season with a pair of virtual performances as part of the Oklahoma City Duals/Oklahoma City Cheer Classic, hosted by Oklahoma City Friday night.
The Eagles posted a third place finish in the first competition of the day, tallying a final score of 80.26. Indiana Wesleyan won the event with a score of 85.65, just ahead of host Oklahoma City who recorded a score of 85.26.
MidAmerica Nazarene (74.13), Lourdes (73.96), Marian (72.26), University of St. Francis (Ill.) (61.73), and St. Adrews (59.81) rounded out the 4th-8th place finishes.
Central concluded the virtual event with a fourth place finish in the Cheer Classic portion, posting a final score of 79.56. Saint Ambrose took home the top spot with a score of 87.63, followed by Oklahoma City (87.43) and Marian (80.63).
Lourdes (77.06), MidAmerica Nazarene (70.01), Grand View (61.85), and University of St. Francis (Ill.) (60.03), finished 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively.
