Eagles Finish Second at CMU Invitational

FAYETTE, Mo. – The Central Methodist University competitive cheer program earned a second place finish at the CMU Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles received a final score of 75.7 with no deductions. Missouri Valley won the event with a final score of 78.7. William Penn took third with a score of 52.02, followed by Baker who scored 38.22.

Central also topped William Penn in a dual on Sunday, posting a final score of 77.47. The Statesmen scored 51.85.

The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, February 29th, at the Midwest Regional Qualifier. The winner of Saturday's event will earn an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship.
