FAYETTE, Mo. � Tryouts are coming up for men and women interested in joining the Central Methodist University Cheerleading and Dance squads next fall.�The tryouts will be held Sunday, April 22 in Puckett Fieldhouse starting at 2 p.m.

Anyone who will be a new student at CMU next fall is welcome to audition; advance registration is strongly encouraged.�

"CMU's cheer squad and its dance team are separate groups, and the tryout format is different for each," Jennifer Shepard, assistant director of admission at CMU, noted. "Those selected for both squads do receive a scholarship."
