Kansas City, Mo. – Ten members of the Central Methodist Baseball program were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the national office. 

Brian Chandler, Cruz Valencia, Dawson Kellgren, Ethan Abernathy, Haden Kelly, Kolby Lester, Matthew Johnson, Jack Prewett, Shane Chamberlain, and Wyatt Jackson are among the more than 1,000 student-athletes from across the country to be recognized. 

In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
