FAYETTE, Mo. - The No. 20-ranked Central Methodist Unversity baseball team was scheduled to play two doubleheaders this weekend in Alexandria, Louisiana, against Champion University and Louisiana State-Alexandria. Due to a heavy amount of rain, the games down south have been canceled.
Central will now compete in the Ruben Foster Classic at the Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City, Mo., on February 16th and 17th. The first two games will be played on Sunday, beginning the day against Tabor College (Kan.) at 12:30 PM and ending the day with a 5:30 PM nightcap versus Bethany College (Kan.). They will round out tournament play on Monday with a contest against Missouri Baptist at 1:00 PM.
The Eagles are slated to return home for the first time in 2020 with a pair of doubleheaders the following weekend against Briar Cliff (Iowa) on Feb. 22 and Feb. 23.
