Hi Eagle fans,

Today our game against #14 Oklahoma Baptist was scheduled for 10:00 a.m., but due to severe weather during the morning, it got bumped back to 1:30 P.M. We loaded up the bus at 11:30 and headed for William Carey. After hitting in the cages and getting warmed up, the energy in the dugout was positive as we were all itching to get a victory today after losing to the South Carolina-Beaufort Sand Sharks yesterday. It was a hard fought game all the way through, but in the end the Bison ended up defeating us 7-6, marking an end to our historic 2013 season.

It was sad saying bye to the graduating seniors, as well as head coach Fred Smith, but we have some very talented underclassmen and I cannot wait to see what next year's team can do under new head coach Nate Breland.

Best wishes to Coach Smith and the graduating seniors. We love you all.

Brian
