FAYETTE, Mo. - Four athletes from Central Methodist University were named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes, which were announced Wednesday.

Juniors Tyler Belt (Macon, Mo.), Shelton Blevins (Auxvasse, Mo.) and Taylor White (East Prairie, Mo.), along with senior Andrew Eggert (Washington, Mo.), were among the 196 NAIA baseball players to be selected as scholar-athletes. In order to be named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must be of at least junior academic standing and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
