Lamoni, Iowa — The Central Methodist University women's wrestling team powered to a 50–5 victory over Graceland Tuesday night in Lamoni, Iowa for their first dual win of the year.

The Eagles won nine of ten bouts behind a combination of forfeits and first-period falls.

CMU opened with forfeits to Mya Hairston (103) and Vivian Mariscal (110) before Ryleigh Page (117) recorded the first contested win, pinning Amaris Rivera in 1:21.

The Eagles extended their lead with additional forfeits to Berlin Kiddoo (124), Nonnie Justice (131), and Emmy Begemann (138).

Graceland earned its lone win at 145, as Virginia Myers defeated CMU's Mina Himmel by fall.

Allyssa Johnson (160) pinned Yanni Sanchez in 2:26, followed by forfeits to Grace Timmons (180) and Christina Page (207) to seal the win.

Central will next compete in the Doane Open Friday, Dec. 5 in Crete, Nebraska.
