Des Moines, Iowa - The No. 20 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team fell to No. 1 nationally ranked Grand View University in a Thursday night dual in Des Moines, Iowa. 

Grand View defeated CMU by a final score of 36-9. 

Corinne McClure and No. 11 Lillian Gough picked up wins over their opponents at the 131 and 138-pound weight classes respectively. Emma Cole suffered a narrow defeat to Yarissa Gallo by a 4-2 decision at 160 pounds. 

The Eagles are now 1-1 in duals this season. Central will next compete in the Missouri Valley Open beginning Friday, Nov. 22 in Marshall, Mo.
