Indianola, Iowa - The Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team began tournament competition at the Luther Hill Open Saturday in Indianola, Iowa. 

Central earned several placement finishes, including a pair of third-place finishes for Toni Avelino at 110 pounds and Mina Himmel at 145 pounds in the freshman/sophomore division. 

Ryleigh Page joined Avelino in the 110-pound weight class with a fourth-place finish after the two squared off in the semifinal match, which saw Avelino come out on top. 

Vivian Mariscal finished fifth in the freshman-sophomore 103-pound division, while Carysa Corrado placed sixth in the varsity 124-pound division as did Corinne McClure at 131 pounds. 

The Eagles continue tournament competition at the Waldorf Open on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 9:00 a.m. in Forest City, Iowa.
