Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist sophomore Allison Hynes was tabbed as the Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week by the conference office Monday.
She is the second Eagle to earn Heart honors this season, joining Caitlyn Davis who was recognized back on Nov. 22.
Hynes posted a 2-0 record at the Avila Eagle Duals this past weekend in Kansas City, securing victories over Macey Gross of Ottawa, and Friends' Maria Correa in the 123-pound weight class.
The native of Broken Arrow, Okla, defeated Gross by Fall in just 46 seconds, while earning a Technical Fall victory over Correa, 10-0.
Hynes and the Eagles will return to action in the Salute to Service Open beginning Thursday, Dec. 29 in Iowa City, Iowa.
