Kansas City, Mo. - After a solid showing at the Missouri Valley College Open this past weekened, Central Methodist Freshman Caitlyn Davis was named the Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week by the conference office Monday. 

Davis, a native of Hilton Head Island, S.C., finished third in the 155-pound weight class Saturday, collecting wins over No. 2 Kaylynn Albrecht of Baker, as well as No. 3 Randi Robison of Campbellsville (Ky.).

She finished the tournament with a 6-1 record, with three of her six wins coming via Technical Fall. 

Davis and the Eagles will next compete in the Missouri Collegiate Open Saturday, Dec. 3 beginning at 8:00 a.m. in St. Louis, Mo.
